  • BARRINGTON RUTHERFORD

    Chairman of the Board

As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Barrington Rutherford brings a deep knowledge of the cannabis industry through his years of experience leading the real estate department of Cresco Labs -- one largest and most respected multi-state cannabis organizations in the US. Barrington supported the company in the growth of its operations from one state to ten. Under his leadership, Cresco’s real estate team has successfully completed dozens of real estate transactions that led to prime locations for the company’s cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensary locations. Mr. Rutherford also launched Cresco’s social equity and justice initiatives. Prior to his tenure at Cresco Labs, Mr. Rutherford has enjoyed an acclaimed entrepreneurial career as a real estate developer and national fast-food restaurant franchisee. His real estate experience dates to 2003 and includes both residential and commercial development, both new and adaptive reuse projects including office facilities, churches, gymnasiums, childcare facilities, and multifamily housing developments around the country.
